We partner with local churches, nonprofits, and community leaders to serve families, share the gospel, and bring both practical and spiritual change. Our city-wide outreaches bring thousands into a central plaza for a day of hope, salvation, and life-changing encounters. Revival Services

Before the city gathers, we’ll ignite revival through powerful services for pastors, leaders, and believers. These gatherings are designed to refresh, equip, and inspire those who guide communities so that the impact of our outreach reaches far beyond one day. Where are we going?

We will be traveling to the nation of Guatemala! The majority of our outreach will take place in the city of La Esperanza located in the state of Quetzaltenango. This area is a beautiful mountain region where temperatures remain in the 70s year-round. La Esperanza is approximately 207 kilometers (128 miles) from Guatemala City, Guatemala.

What’s the mission of the trip?

During Summer of Impact, we unite as one body to meet the tangible needs of a community through acts of service, evangelistic campaigns, dynamic kids’ festivals, and more. But our mission doesn’t stop there. We believe that as we serve a city with love and compassion, God moves in powerful ways to bring salvation, healing, and hope to its people.

Who can come?

At this time our trips are designed for committed followers of Jesus ages 18+. If you’re a minor and would like to serve on this trip, please reach out to our office via the contact page for availability and consideration.

What travel documents are required to come on a One Mandate Trip?

A valid state-issued driver’s license or ID card.
A U.S. Passport Book (Passport Cards are not accepted). Don’t worry you still have time to apply and receive your passport for Summer 2026!
A Global Entry Card: This ensures smooth and fast re-entry into the U.S. after international travel. We’ll provide instructions on how to apply for Global Entry once your trip application is approved.

What are accommodations like?

Our goal is to provide a memorable global ministry experience to each participant, and we believe that a team performs best when they have rested and eaten well. All three hotels that participants will stay at on this trip (Houston, La Esperanza, Guatemala City) will have air conditioning, high-speed internet access, hot water, and comfortable beds. While in Guatemala, you will have the opportunity to experience local cuisine along with other restaurants that you would be familiar with from the United States.

What’s included in the price of the trip?

Our goal is to make every trip all-inclusive! Included in the price of your trip is:

One-night stay in Houston before departure for team development and training.
Round Trip international airfare departing from Houston, Texas.
All normally scheduled meals, snacks, and purified drinking water.
Transportation, hotels, and activities while in Guatemala.
Travel insurance.
A different t-shirt for every day of serving in Guatemala. These T-shirts will be yours to keep after the trip.

Are there any vaccination requirements?

At the time that we’re launching this trip there are no vaccination or testing requirements for entering or departing Guatemala. Our team will contact you immediately should this change.

Are there payment plans?

Absolutely! We’ve designed an easy payment plan specifically for this trip to ensure it’s hassle-free for all participants. Additionally, we collaborate with each individual to ensure attendance at our One Mandate Fundraising Academy. We’ve witnessed incredible miracles unfold during the fundraising phase even before the trip kicks off!

What do we believe?

At One Mandate, we hold a strong belief that the complete gospel both preached and demonstrated should reach every corner of the world! Unreservedly spirit-filled, we anticipate witnessing miracles, signs, and wonders in the lives of every individual we encounter, including those who join us on our trips.

Where does the trip depart from?

All participants will depart from Houston, Texas! We look forward to welcoming our 2026 Guatemala Team to Houston one day before the trip starts for team development and training. All team members must attend this time of training and depart from Houston, Texas.

Will Mandate University be offered online for those who can't attend the trip?

Mandate University is exclusive to 1M trips and will not be available in the United States or digitally. 1M trips are designed not only for you to serve but also for you to be equipped. We invite you on a 1M trip to attend Mandate University and to be activated to serve Jesus through Global Ministry!

What safety measures are being taken for this trip?

The safety, health, and well-being of our 1M teams is the top priority of our 1M Staff. We monitor the conditions of host nations year-long to ensure safe travel is possible and work with our hosting ministry to ensure a strong and equitable safety and security protocol is established for every part of our outreach. All participants will be required to pass a background check. We will always operate in faith, and continue to use wisdom combined with years of experience as we make decisions regarding safety.

Will I need extra spending money?

This trip is all-inclusive, but we encourage participants to bring extra spending money for souvenirs, thank-you gifts for their supporters, special offerings, and personal needs that may arise on this trip. Most people bring anywhere from an additional $500 – $1,000 in spending money. A large number of businesses and vendors in Guatemala accept credit cards as well.

What do I need to pack for my trip?

We’re excited to know that you’re eager about packing for this trip! Once your application is approved for you to participate you will receive detailed information (we love lists!) about how to pack and prepare, along with helpful info regarding customs.

What level of health is required to participate in a One Mandate mission trip?

Our mission trips are designed with a medium challenge level, meaning participants should be prepared for extensive walking, navigating inclines, and adapting to high-altitude environments.

At One Mandate, the safety and well-being of our missionaries are a top priority. Every trip includes a nurse or EMT on-site, and we have a highly qualified doctor on call in the United States to consult with local hospitals in the host nation should urgent care be needed. Our goal is to create a mission experience where every participant is safe, healthy, and fully equipped to serve confidently and impact lives for the Kingdom of God.
